The much-anticipated Australian debut of Islay’s newest distillery…a big, traditional smoky sherry bomb from the home of peated whisky – Islay – Raise your glasses to the Ardnahoe Bholsa! The Bholsa is the second Ardnahoe whisky to be released in Australia. Heavily peated, and matured prominently in ex-oloroso, the Bholsa carries no age statement but is widely considered to be made from 4 and 5 year old casks. It’s a fantastic example of the big peated sherry bomb whisky that so many of our members love – especially as we head into the winter dramming months! -
An EXCLUSIVE blend of Iniquity Whisky’s oldest stock! From the Legends that are Iniquity, The Iniquity Triptych 6 is a blend of three casks – Rum, Shiraz and Chardonnay.
Blended especially for the SMWC by Ian and Vic, this features two casks of Tin Shed’s oldest whisky at 7 years old (Rum and Chardonnay casks) and a portion of 6 year old from a Shiraz cask (Elderton Commander Shiraz at that!) – hence the ‘6’ as an age statement must be the youngest whisky. After some back and forth with of samples at various ABVs – we’ve all agreed that 43% is the perfect bottling strength.

The very rare, exclusive (and slightly spooky) appearance of one of Scotland’s biggest distilleries that only a special few scant drops ever make it into the world as a single malt whisky. It’s the utterly fabulous 750ml bottling of a 2016 Dalmunach 8-year-old single malt whisky! The Duncan Taylor Dalmunach 2016 8-year-old is a single ex-bourbon cask (no.10843869) matured for 8 years at the distillery, then split into the smaller (French oak ex-sherry) Octave casks and finished in these for a further 9 months before being re-married and bottled exclusively for the Single Malt Whisky Club at a delicious 46% abv. Oh… nearly forgot to mention, this has been bottled in 750ml bottles, so an extra dram than usual per bottle – JOY! -

A single cask expression – this one matured in a French-oak 2nd fill Tawny cask (from a famous Tassie distillery with an ignoble end) . Bottled at 48% and exclusive to the Single Malt Whisky Club.
