HOW DOES THE GIFT SUBSCRIPTION WORK?2021-08-10T13:06:02+10:00

A Gift Subscription is a product offering that we think is just awesome. It allows a purchaser to gift an entire subscription and all its benefits to another user with the purchaser in control of the payments etc. You can setup a Gift Subscription by reading the Gifts Page. Once the purchaser enters the recipients address, the recipient is invited to setup an account and their delivery details but cannot see any payment or other details which are controlled by the purchaser. It is a very cool way to send some whisky love.

HOW DO I REDEEM A GIFT CARD2021-08-10T13:07:08+10:00

The process is very simple. Firstly you need to join the Single Malt Whisky Club (remember it is FREE to join). When entering your details you can add your Gift Card number while checking out in the COUPON section. This will act as a store credit for you.

Once you have done that, any purchases will be deducted from your Gift Card. Bottoms up!

DO YOU HAVE GIFT CARDS/SUBSCRIPTIONS?2021-08-10T13:08:05+10:00

Yes we certainly do. You can read all about them on our Gifts Page. We have available Gift Cards and you can also gift a whole subscription to someone special. The Gift Cards work as a standard Gift Card that can ben redeemed on any whisky from our monthly releases or our Online Store.

The Gift Subscription works by the purchaser handling all of the billing and details and those being hidden from the recipient. The recipient can manage their delivery details and opt-out etc.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY WHISKY ARRIVES DAMAGED?2021-07-13T10:12:42+10:00

Simple, we will replace it. Our specialist packaging for bottles rarely allows for damaged bottles, but if it does simply email the details with a photo to drams@singlemalt.com.au and we will get another dispatched to you as soon as possible.

The Malt of the Month shipping is fixed at $15 no matter how many bottles you order, so order up!

Shipping is not included in our advertised prices for our Online Shop and the postage prices are calculated on the quantity and types of purchases.

If you do wish to cancel your membership? Simply email us directly at drams@singlemalt.com.au. Remember there is no cancellation fees and you can re-join at no cost anytime.

The Single Malt Whisky Club has very high security, encryption and privacy standards. We will never sell or share with anyone your personal information. Our website and membership system is secured with SSL encryption on all pages including checkout and we cannot access your secured payment information, it it stored securely on our partner merchants servers (Paypal and Stripe).

MY PAYMENT COULDN’T BE PROCESSED?2021-08-10T13:17:21+10:00

Don’t worry of if your payment couldn’t process for whatever reason on the cutoff date. We will send you an email advising you and generally you will have 5 days to change or update your payment details and we will retry your payment so your whisky can get to its rightful home.

Well we hope so! But whisky is a subjective thing and what one person loves the other only likes. We always source high quality whisky that we think is exceptional but to help you, we provide full tasting notes and a tasting video by our resident whisky expert so you can make an informed decision.

Your monthly order total will be processed every month on the 19th of the month using the payment method you have listed on your account. The total billed will depend on whether you add additional products or not. This allows us to finalise the orders, pack your order and ship it as quick as possible.

We have very streamlined logistics systems, so monthly orders are packed and dispatched within 2 days of processing. We send you the tracking number as soon as it is dispatched so you can check out where your whisky is.

As a Single Malt Whisky Club member you get exclusive access to our ‘Members Extra’ which are generally exquisite small batch whiskies we find in quantities smaller than we can use for the monthly whisky release. We release these to members only on a first come, first serve basis.

Members also get discounts at the online shop, access to our tasting nights and a generally good feeling that you are contributing to the overall love of whisky!

CAN I ADD EXTRA BOTTLES TO MY ORDER?2021-08-10T17:25:27+10:00

Yes! Easily! Each month you can add extra bottles of the monthly release whiskies to your order (subject to availability) using the members section of the website. There is a full guide available HERE.

Members can also add any whisky from our Online Store to take advantage of our fixed $15 shipping costs. Check out how to do that HERE.

The price of each whisky varies each month but generally it is between $110 and $160 per bottle and we publish the prices for each whisky release on the website and in the Malt of the Month newsletter so you know exactly before you purchase.

CAN I LEAVE THE CLUB AT ANY TIME?2020-01-16T16:25:07+10:00

Like our no fees at all approach, you can leave the Single Malt Whisky Club at any time. You can opt-out as many releases as you want or cancel altogether. We also make it very easy for you to rejoin (since there is no joining fees).

DO I NEED TO SIGN A CONTRACT? ARE THERE JOINING/MEMBERSHIP FEES?2021-08-10T17:30:03+10:00

Absolutely not. Contracts are for gyms and phone companies. There are no contracts, no joining fees, no cancellation fees and while we are at it, no monthly minimum purchases or admin fees. Your membership can be cancelled at any time and while active you have access to our monthly Single Malt Whisky Club releases. If you do nothing in the 5 days, your payment details will be charged and your whisky shipped, but you can also easily skip that month (or order more!)

We pride ourselves on our safe and fast delivery. Each month when you have completed your order, we process your payment and package your order up in specialist, protective packaging and get it to you. We also send you the tracking number so you can see the status of your delivery.
