Please be upstanding for the world premiere of a new era of collaboration between Milk and Honey (M&H) and the powerhouse American single malt distillery – Westward. Two of ‘worlds whiskies’ major power players have instigated a ‘barrel swap program’ – and your not-so-little whisky club has the world exclusive first release from this partnership – Welcome to the Milk and Honey Westward Cask! A whisky that reflects this sunny and fresh season perfectly. A whisky full of the bright notes of spring. Green citrussy piquancy, big yellow malty notes and an orange-y apricot jam tang is just the beginning of what’s to be had in this one. A whisky from a company that has absolutely blown the world away since they burst onto the world whisky stage a little over 4 years ago with a string of medals, including the World Whisky Awards ‘Whisky of the Year’ in 2023. A whisky that, simply put – we are incredibly proud to have our logo featured on – The Milk and Honey Westward Cask! A super easy-dramming whisky that is just as well behaved on the palate as it is bursting with all those American oak notes we love so much. Super creamy, big citrus flavours and more vanilla than an M-rated sex scene – alongside those delicious jammy bursts – make this a simply stunning whisky. The 57% abv is just so well integrated – best you remind yourself you’re drinking some ‘grown up whisky’ here because your palate simply won’t notice how strong this is. It’s just sooo easy to drink…and drink…and you know where this is going… -
Let’s FIRKIN get our whisky on! The RELEASE of not any FIRKIN WHISKY…A LINKWOOD…one of the rarest of the rare with only 1-2% ever being released as a SINGLE MALT – The Firkin Ten Linkwood 2010! The ‘Firkin Ten’ label denotes a spirit aged for 10 years prior to finishing in Mike’s custom casks. This Firkin Ten Linkwood was distilled at Linkwood Distillery, in the Speyside, in 2010. In 2020, it was bought by Mike and transferred to his hybrid, Madeira-seasoned casks where it was finished for a further two years. Bottled with no chill filtering and absolutely nothing added other than the water used to bring it down to the bottling strength of 48.9%ABV. We’re FIRKIN proud to be first to bring this new expression to market in Australia, and we’re pretty FIRKIN chuffed at the price we’ve got it for you as well! -
Peat Freaks, REJOICE! Something unexpected has arrived. Forget what you think you know about the Lowlands. We are proud to introduce KinGlassie RAW - a Lowland whisky that is unapologetically PEATED! This is a historic release: it is InchDairnie Distillery’s first-ever peated whisky. It offers a masterclass in balance, delivering a dram that is distinctly peat-forward, yet never overwhelming. It’s the smoke you crave with the refinement you deserve. -
How does an 11 year old 100% sherry matured single cask Speysider sound? Because that’s exactly this month’s Members Extra – The Rolling Cask Linkwood 11 Year Old!
The Rolling Cask Linkwood 2010 Sherry Butt is a single cask matured Speyside whisky. Distilled in 2010 and disgorged in 2021 this 11 year old is a 100% Single Cask Sherry Butt matured Speyside whisky and is absolutely overflowing with fruity deliciousness.
"Delicious, fruity and a good long chewy finish – all with a nice French-oak pepper spice that keeps the sweetness in check without being overwhelming. It doesn’t look like a sherry bomb – but it has all the flavour of one!"

An EXCLUSIVE 700ml Whisky Release from an Australian DEDICATED PEATED Whisky Distillery! A distillery that has definitely made a big impact on the Aussie whisky scene in the relatively short while they have been trading. The first, a dedicated PEATED whisky distillery – Kinglake and their O’Grady’s Stand SMWC Special 700ml Edition. We’ve been chatting to Kinglake Distillery since before they released their inaugural whisky back in 2021, and we’re stoked to finally be able to collaborate with them on a special release – a SMWC exclusive release – the Kinglake O’Grady’s Stand SMWC Special 700ml Edition. Now Kinglake distillery have a lot of ‘firsts’ and ‘one of very few’s’ to their name. They are the first (and currently only) ‘Carbon Neutral’ distillery in Australia. They are one of the very few that use completely untreated, unfiltered water sourced from a spring on their own property. Kinglake are also one of the very few Aussie whisky distilleries that are open-fermenting their wash, thus incorporating local wild yeasts into their flavour profile. -

Let’s kick off 2025 with a Highland CASK STRENGTH single malt from the legendary Deanston Distillery. For the FIRST TIME in Australia and EXCLUSIVE to the Single Malt Whisky Club – The Deanston Virgin Oak Cask Strength Batch 1! They say their Deanston Virgin Oak Cask Strength 2023 Edition Batch No.1 is like their founder, Brodie Hepburn, bold, brave and unapologetic, and at 58.5% it certainly packs a punch. Deanston’s Virgin Oak Cask Strength Batch No.1 was first filled in American Oak Bourbon Barrels, some of the finest around. What sets it apart is that waxy citrus character which is true to the Deanston style. Then it was finished in Virgin, American Oak Barrels. A non-chill filtered beauty, with nothing added other than the natural ingredients of pure clean water, malted barley and yeast. In typical Deanston style, as a distillery they strive to be different and to do better, challenging the status quo and looking outside the square. That is this Batch No.1 to a tee. -
This exceptional whisky ticks LOTS of boxes! Organic certified…Non chill-filtered…Non-coloured…100% sustainably produced…Vegan friendly…It’s even Gluten free! But don’t let all these credentials put you off as a ‘gimmick’ – what counts is what’s in the bottle, and what’s in the bottle is GOOD! Not just ‘not bad’ but GOLD MEDAL WINNING…The Nc’nean Organic Single Malt Whisky ‘is gooood’ whisky! -
An EXCLUSIVE blend of Iniquity Whisky’s oldest stock! From the Legends that are Iniquity, The Iniquity Triptych 6 is a blend of three casks – Rum, Shiraz and Chardonnay.
Blended especially for the SMWC by Ian and Vic, this features two casks of Tin Shed’s oldest whisky at 7 years old (Rum and Chardonnay casks) and a portion of 6 year old from a Shiraz cask (Elderton Commander Shiraz at that!) – hence the ‘6’ as an age statement must be the youngest whisky. After some back and forth with of samples at various ABVs – we’ve all agreed that 43% is the perfect bottling strength.

Kia Ora! From our SOLD OUT highlight whisky of 2023 we are off again to the land of the long white cloud for another of NZ’s finest whiskies – This time a SINGLE CASK expression – The Thomson Whisky Cask Ninety Four – bottled EXCLUSIVELY for you! Now you may remember that back in 2023 we released the celebrated Thomson Manuka Smoke Whisky into Australia –to say we got some positive feedback is an understatement. In fact, we got so much excellent feedback that we thought we should try another of their expressions – this one exclusive to the Club! This time around though, we’re going to put Thomsons to test with a classic combination of un-peated, bourbon cask matured whisky. The spirit for this expression was filled in a 200L American oak single ex-bourbon (Jim Beam) cask for 5 years (put down on September 2019) before being disgorged and cut to 46.5% for bottling. Mat Thomson (Head Distiller and Owner) came across the cask when he was doing his monthly barrel survey and flagged it right away. He phoned me and said “this one’s ready. It’s delicious. It’s an early cask of ours so it’s special to share this with you all”. What else could we do but say “Giddy Up Mat”! -
The very rare, exclusive (and slightly spooky) appearance of one of Scotland’s biggest distilleries that only a special few scant drops ever make it into the world as a single malt whisky. It’s the utterly fabulous 750ml bottling of a 2016 Dalmunach 8-year-old single malt whisky! The Duncan Taylor Dalmunach 2016 8-year-old is a single ex-bourbon cask (no.10843869) matured for 8 years at the distillery, then split into the smaller (French oak ex-sherry) Octave casks and finished in these for a further 9 months before being re-married and bottled exclusively for the Single Malt Whisky Club at a delicious 46% abv. Oh… nearly forgot to mention, this has been bottled in 750ml bottles, so an extra dram than usual per bottle – JOY! -
Grab your board and some mates for a single-cask, Aussie single malt that captures the maritime soul of the NSW Northern Beaches – The Coastal Stone Tawny SMWC Edition! EXCLUSIVE and hand-picked by the Single Malt Whisky Club as a unique and rare expression of local craftsmanship, the 6 year old (nearly 7 actually) is the very first age statement whisky from Coastal Stone available outside their cellar door! The Coastal Stone 6yo Tawny SMWC Edition was one of the first casks the distillery laid down and is just a smidge under 7 years old. A single cask expression – this one matured in a French-oak 2nd fill Tawny cask (from a famous Tassie distillery with an ignoble end) . Bottled at 48% and exclusive to the Single Malt Whisky Club. This is a truly unique whisky that can only come from small-batch distillation, coastal aging, and the rich depth of port cask influence. -
