Iniquity Triptych 6

An EXCLUSIVE blend of Iniquity Whisky's oldest stock! From the Legends that are Iniquity, The Iniquity Triptych 6 is a blend of three casks – Rum, Shiraz and Chardonnay.

Blended especially for the SMWC by Ian and Vic, this features two casks of Tin Shed's oldest whisky at 7 years old (Rum and Chardonnay casks) and a portion of 6 year old from a Shiraz cask (Elderton Commander Shiraz at that!) – hence the '6' as an age statement must be the youngest whisky. After some back and forth with of samples at various ABVs – we've all agreed that 43% is the perfect bottling strength.

Tin Shed Distilling (the home of Iniquity whisky) began as a humble distillery in a literal 'tin shed' in the backwaters of Adelaide's industrial area. Anyone who has visited the old location can attest that it was certainly a 'no frills' operation with Ian's and Vic's shared office doubling as the tasting room and 'cellar door' for sales. No official distillery tours were offered, but a quick phone call or email beforehand saw any whisky lover welcomed and accommodated with a quick tour and sampling. I'm pretty sure no one ever left that old tin shed empty handed.

That's somewhat changed now, as Tin Shed Distilling recently 'levelled-up' both their location and their distillery itself. From a humble industrial shed to a bespoke distillery with a restaurant, deck bar and cellar door shop in the magnificent Adelaide Hills suburb of Nairne.

NOTE: About the labels – the bottles were to be screen-printed. However, a late breakdown of the screen-printer's, well, screen-printer meant we had to adapt and overcome. And so we've used some of Tin Shed's 'Private Cask' labels to facilitate getting these out to members on time. Not a perfect solution – but it's the liquid inside that counts, right? Big props, though, to Ian and Vic for their destroyed wrists and hands after hand-writing all the labels!
