To make our Aussie Christmas a little more special – we’ve commissioned two more of the immensely popular Adam’s Seasoned Virgin Oak Casks. As is fitting for the chrissy season, we’ve selected a Tawny Port and a Sherry seasoned cask – perfect for dramming with a big Christmas lunch or dinner.

Both of these whiskies are sensational. Big, spicy, fruity and delicious and are extremely limited with only 35 of each expression in the world! Both of these whiskies will be gone in a flash – the last time we offered Adam’s 20l virgin oak whiskies they sold out in a day!

Each bottle is hand–numbered and personally signed by both the Adam’s boys…So be quick to secure yours!

Virgin Oak Tawny Cask – Cask: A00306

Nose: Toffee, sultanas and vanilla over a base of oak with hints of liquorice.

Palate: Sweet oily mouthfeel. Traces of mush drift between layers of sweet stewed fruit and Christmas cake spices.

Finish: Rich, warming and lightly spicy. Sweet and long and full of yuletide fruit.

Virgin Oak Sherry Cask – Cask: A00305

Nose: Rich leathery oak notes give way to classic Christmas pud with a caramel sauce twist.

Palate: Big spice at first, but gives way quickly to sweet spiced fruit and a little star anise sneakas in around the edges.

Finish: The fruity sweetness bounces right along – with a chewy spice to temper the fruit sweetness and see the dram out!

To make your Aussie Christmas a little more special – we’ve commissioned two more of the immensely popular Adam’s Seasoned Virgin Oak Casks. As is fitting for the chrissy season, we’ve selected a Tawny and a Sherry seasoned cask – perfect for dramming with a big Christmas lunch or dinner.

These two VERY limited-edition Adams Single Malt Whiskies have been selected by us and bottled exclusively for our Club Members. Both whiskies were aged in a 20L (yep you heard right –twenty litres!) barrel. These virgin oak barrels were first seasoned for 6 months by the boys–one with Tawny, and the other seasoned with Sherry. The barrels were then briefly rinsed, then filled with new make spirit and put away at the back of the bond-store for 3 years then bottled at cask strength for maximum wow! Voila!

Each bottle is hand–numbered and personally signed by both the Adam’s boys…So be quick to secure yours!

Virgin Oak Tawny Cask Single Malt Whisky – Cask # AD0306

“Adams has chosen to experiment with 20L Virgin French Oak Casks; for this expression we seasoned the cask with Australian Tawny for approx. 12 months, drained the cask and filled it with our signature New Make. This spirit is made from Dark Crystal, Pilsner and Beechwood Smoked Barley. This Whisky has the typical sweet red and black fruits that is expected with an Adams Port cask, however, this is not a Port cask, this is an Australian Tawny. There is more of a soft white pepper bite balanced perfectly with the sweetness of the wine from the rich Australian soils. Plum, cherry and a subtle brandy tone ride the wave to a long meaty yet refined finish.”

Virgin Oak Sherry Cask Single Malt Whisky – Cask # AD0305

“Adams has chosen to experiment with 20L Virgin French Oak Casks; for this expression we seasoned the cask with Sherry for approx. 12 months, drained the cask and filled it with our signature New Make. This spirit is made from Dark Crystal, Pilsner and Beechwood Smoked Barley. This Whisky is chewy dark caramel with typical Christmas cake notes and hints of dark plum. A little sharp, but quickly mellows and gives way to a long lingering finish of earthy notes and fresh spices.”
