Iniquity Whisky Silver Series Batch 24 is pure, wicked, Adelaide-made indulgence – a luscious, hands‑on, small‑batch whisky that proves Vic’s rule once again: each Silver Series must outdo the last, and this one absolutely does. It’s rich, dark, fruity, unapologetically delicious… and guaranteed to vanish fast.
Batch 24 isn’t just a whisky – it’s a moment. A once‑off, hand‑built, flavour‑stacked creation from the award‑stuffed crew at Tin Shed Distilling, who’ve earned so many medals they literally had to move to a bigger shed to store them.
This month, they’ve given the Tribe something special: a pure, non‑peated Silver Series matured entirely in ex‑Tawny and Apera casks, cut with crisp Adelaide Hills water, and blended under Vic’s ironclad rule – each batch must be better than the last.
Batch 24 is the kind of whisky that makes you pause mid‑sip and mutter “oh… damn.” It’s decadent without being heavy, complex without being pretentious, and dangerously drinkable. Think burnt caramel, dark fruit, molasses, sultanas, Dutch liquorice, and a cheeky herbaceous flick on the nose. Then the palate kicks in with spice, dryness, a wave of sweetness, and late‑arriving sour plum and tobacco that unfold like a slow‑burn encore.
The finish? A rollercoaster of dry → sweet → dry again, ending in raspberry lollies and confectionery notes that make you grin like you’ve stolen something. Add a few drops of water and the whole thing explodes – a flavour ricochet that whisky nerds will analyse for hours, and newcomers will simply call “bloody delicious.”
This is limited, hand‑made, award‑winning, and only available to the public if the Tribe doesn’t drink it all first. And let’s be honest… we probably will.

Iniquity Silver Series Batch 24 is a non‑peated Australian single malt matured exclusively in ex‑Tawny and Apera casks and bottled at 46% ABV. Expect burnt caramel, molasses, dark fruit, sultanas, demerara sugar, and Dutch liquorice on the nose. The palate delivers spice, dryness, sweetness, sour plum, and tobacco notes with exceptional balance. The finish swings from dry to sweet to dry again, ending in raspberry confectionery. A few drops of water unlock a burst of ricocheting flavour. Limited release hand‑crafted and blended under the Silver Series rule: each batch must surpass the last.
- Limited Edition – once it’s gone, it’s gone.
- Exclusivity – SMWC gets first access; the public only gets leftovers.
- Hand‑made craftsmanship – every step done in‑house, by hand, by people who care.
- Award‑winning distillery – they’ve earned more medals than shelf space.
- Vic’s rule – each Silver Series must be better than the last… and Batch 24 delivers.
- Pure Tawny + Apera maturation – rich, Aussie fortified wine casks = big flavour.
- 46% sweet spot – balanced, expressive, and dangerously drinkable.

TASTING NOTES
Nose: deliciously juicy on the nose. A big hit of apple and pear juice with floral (jasmine) overtones , there’s also a delightful perfume-y note there too.
Palate: Fruity-sweet with a lovely rich mouthfeel. Toffee-apples, blind baked pastry, and sweet berry jus, mixed peel and – I think– yellow jubes.
Finish: Nice and long with more of those delicious fruity notes – but as it fades a pleasant ginger-warmth emerges with some more of those pastry notes and a soft salted-caramel nudge. There’s a little saltiness on the lips afterwards as well.
This is truly well-balanced, easy-drinking whisky. There’s just no negatives I can find here. The alcohol is perfect at 46% abv, so fruity and light in taste, but lovely and viscous in the mouth. You’re going to love this whisky I promise. Your friends are going to love it too – so careful who you pull this one out in front of… because odds are you’re going to finish it with them!

FROM TIN SHED DISTILLING
Iniquity—sinful, immoral, or just plain wicked. An appropriate name really, because anything this good is usually illegal, sinful… or just plain fattening! We say, reward yourself with a dram of liquid sunshine at the end of a hard day… or just because you deserve one of life’s wicked pleasures.
Every step of the process we employ is hands on; from milling the malt, stirring the mash, making the cut and moving the barrels, to judging which casks to use, bottling, labelling and shipping bottles of spirit to our clients and friends. True, we are more hands-on than some may consider necessary, but that is how we choose to make our spirits because we believe our way produces the depth of flavour we demand of our products.
In short, we simply would not do it any other way. Bringing our whisky, rum, vodka and gin to the market has been a real journey, that has tested our individual and collective spirit at every step! We are proud of what we have achieved. We now invite you to share our passion, and enjoy your own journey in spirit, our spirits.
Nose: Burnt caramel, molasses, sweet rum, dark fruit, sultanas, demerara sugar, salty Dutch liquorice and a herbaceous note.
Palate: Spicey, dryish, then sweetness followed by more dryness. Sour plum and tobacco notes come in late after exposure to an incredibly complex and well-balanced integration that unfolds in your mouth.
Finish: Initially dry, followed by sweetness, more dryness and red raspberry lollies followed by confectionary notes in the home strait.
This dram benefits from a few drops of water that manifest themselves as a bombardment of flavour ricocheting around your mouth. It is a simple enough dram to provide a thoroughly enjoyable experience for novice drinker, or a challenging journey with ample rewards for the whisky nerds.
