A ‘ONCE IN A LIFETIME’ whisky! No less than a CASK STRENGTH bottling of the just-crowned WORLD’S BEST SINGLE MALT WHISKY – the M&H Elements Sherry Cask Strength.
There’s only one place IN THE WORLD you can buy one! Yes, a WORLD EXCLUSIVE bottling for our members, a special favour by our friends at Milk and Honey thanks to our support for helping launch them in 2020.
Not $500…not $300…not even $200!!! $175 for SMWC members!
This sensational whisky is made from a blend of ex-Oloroso and ex-Pedro Ximinez casks. Both of these fortified wines were commissioned and made especially for M&H and left for 1 year in the (ex-bourbon) casks to season them fully. The casks were then filled with M&H spirit and matured for an undisclosed time under the Tel Aviv sun! The M&H Elements Sherry Cask Strength is non-chill filtered, non-coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 57%ABV. It is also kosher.
Needless to say – this is both a magnificent whisky to drink – but let’s be honest – this is also a whisky that by it’s very nature is highly collectable. Don’t miss out on owning your own piece of WHISKY HISTORY.
A little over three years ago, we were proud to launch a new brand into Australia from an extremely unlikely (or so it seemed back then) place. Now we are the first to admit, our members were a little sceptical about a whisky made in the Middle East – until they tasted it. Just like the world I guess…until they tasted it.
Imagine our delight, when just a little over three years after we introduced M&H to Australia, our friends at M&H have just had their ‘M&H Elements Sherry Cask’ whisky crowned no less than ‘Best Single Malt Whisky in the World’ at the worlds most prestigious whisky competition – The World Whiskies Awards. You can probably imagine our absolute rapture when M&H offered us a world exclusive to thank us for our past support!
A ONE-TIME-ONLY, CASK STRENGTH bottling of the World’s Best Single Malt Whisky!
As you can imagine, M&H is currently struggling to meet the demand for their M&H Elements Sherry Cask – and we are absolutely honoured that they have given us the only cask strength version of this world-beater that will EVER be made.
This whisky is the answer to the perennial question when these sort of results are announced – what would a cask strength version of the winner taste like?
So you say you like a sherry bomb, eh? Well it just so happens that this years World Whiskies Awards ‘World’s Best Single Malt Whisky’ is a sherry bomb! Aaaannd it just so happens that this month, the Single Malt Whisky Club has the world exclusive of a Cask Strength version of the best single malt whisky in the world. Is it best-est, or best-er? Not sure, but it’s pretty bloody spectacular. The M&H Elements Sherry Cask Strength.
OUR TASTING NOTES
Nose: Sweet raspberry jam, with creamy–crunchy pastry notes as well as spiced fruit.
Palate: So instantly big and rich and thick on the palate and incredibly well behaved alcohol. So big and solid, yet gentle and cuddly. Big creamy fruit, honey and vanilla in the palate – like a fresh cream apple turnover.
Finish: It’s long, it’s rich, and it’s absolutely chewy! Waves of big red stewed fruits, caramel, dark chocolate, a touch of white pepper spice, but just a touch.
The M&H Elements Sherry Cask Strength is big and round and red and bold… but at the same time gentle and elegant and complex. All those notes you love in a sherry matured are there – and present as a rolling thunder of absolute bombastic cask strength sherry-bliss!
Thank you so much Tal and all the team at M&H Distillery for this once in a lifetime whisky.
FROM MILK AND HONEY
After we surprisingly won the World’s Best Single Malt at the World Whiskies Awards in London earlier this year, we almost collapsed from the global demand! Anyway – we decided to celebrate our achievement with one of the first whisky clubs to believe in us, and our whiskies – “The Single Malt Whisky Club” in Australia!
As a thank you to your members for being the first in Australia to spread the ‘M&H love’ back in 2020 when we launched the brand in Australia, we decided to offer an exclusive Cask Strength Element Sherry for a one and only time world wide from all of us here in the M&H distillery in Tel Aviv, thank you all and enjoy it!
Nose: Red dried fruits followed by vanilla and caramel with a hint of dark chocolate.
Palate: Creamy and chewy with notes of honey and dark fruits. Gentle oak in the background.
Finish: Long and warm, dark chocolate and a bittersweet oak with notes of vanilla and citrus.

ABOUT MILK AND HONEY
The Milk and Honey Distillery is an oasis of traditional craftsmanship among the hustle and bustle of one of the world’s leading night life and high-tech hubs. Tel Aviv is a rare combination of ‘old’ and ‘new’, an urban puzzle of preservation and innovation all at once. This young and dynamic environment serves as the ideal background for the dream of creating top quality single malt whisky – according to worldwide standards.
The first Israeli whisky distillery is located in the first city of Israel. Symbolic? Maybe, but it wasn’t for historic reasons that they chose to set the distillery here: Tel Aviv is the heart of Israel’s culinary and drinking scene. There are amazing indoor and outdoor markets here, world-class bars, and restaurants like no other place in the world. The Milk & Honey Distillery is now firmly entrenched in a city that never stops.
An urban distillery, located in one of Tel Aviv’s ‘up and coming’ neighborhoods, Milk & Honey is now a part of the city’s fabric, among entrepreneurs and innovators, makers and artisans. They built the distillery to be in their hometown, along with the beachfront, the lively markets and the architecture.
As entrenched in their hometown as they are – the aim and strategy of the distillery points abroad. The Milk & Honey people have been focusing on the global market since the inception of the distillery in 2014.
A small distillery by international standards – Milk & Honey are currently producing 170,000 litres of new make spirit per year. Not all of this is single malt, they also do a range of gins and vodkas. So at present it’s a relatively small distillery with big ambitions. And I say ‘big ambitions’ because they have the capacity to distill up to 700,000 litres/year with their current stills – only extra fermentation vessels would be needed to reach this level of production. So they’ve been careful to allow easy scalability of production into their initial distillery build. Smarts!
Dr. Jim Swan (1941-2017) – the ‘Einstein of Modern Whisky’ was a hired advisor for the distillery. Dr. Swan was a world leader in distilling and consulted to many new, big names in single malt whisky around the world. Kavalan (Taiwan), Penderyn (Wales), Victoria Caledonian (Canada) as well as Clydesdale Distillery and Lindors Abbey in Scotland.
