With Burns night coming up on 25th of January, I am sure we are all in need of a stock up whisky. The beauty of Robert Burns is that his birthday is the day before Australia Day, so all Aussies get the next day off to recover! Sheer brilliance! Enjoy the Macallan Speymalt 1998 vintage.
Gordon & MacPhail are the original independent bottlers of (amongst others) Macallan single malt, creating the wonderful heavy sherried whiskies that made Macallan famous. In the 80’s, Macallan began bottling their own whisky moving away from the traditional house style. This month’s whisky is the traditional Macallan, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail. The Macallan Speymalt 1998 Vintage. You can still get the 1938 vintage for around £4,000.
