Redbreast Lustau Sherry Finish

FEBRUARY 2021

This month, we rocket back to the ‘old world’ of whisky with nothing less than a legendary Irish sherry bomb! February’s Malt of the Month is a collaboration between one of the world’s most highly recognised Sherry producers, and one of Irelands most popular whiskey brands. We are proud to get our hands on the ‘Redbreast Lustau Sherry Finish’ for our members this month.

The Rebreast Lustau Sherry Finish is a unique collaboration between the Bodega Lustau and Midleton Distillery. Distilled in the Irish ‘Single Pot Still’ style. The Redbreast Lustau Sherry Finish is made from a mixture of both malted and unmalted barley. Triple distilled in the one pot still at the Midleton Distillery, aged for 9-12 years in Bourbon and Sherry casks, then finished for 12 months in first fill Oloroso Sherry casks from the Bodega Lustau. The result is the ultimate sherried style of Redbreast and that Bodega Lustau agreed to their name being used for the expression tells a lot about the quality of the casks they have used in this.

Simply JOIN the Single Malt Whisky Club, enter your details and payment information and each month we will send you the whisky details, tasting notes and pricing for the months release. Skip the month if you don’t want it, do nothing if you want to enjoy a dram!

Our resident experts scour the world for the best Single Malt Whiskies. No matter the country, distillery size or rareness. We personally test each whisky before releasing it to our members with extensive tasting notes and the story behind the whisky and the distillery.

SKIP OR DRINK UP

Each month we release the whisky via email and social media. Members have 5 days to skip the month if they don’t want it, double up or add anything else to their order. Easy, with NO joining fees or monthly commitments, you get only the whisky you want.

DELIVERY

We deliver to anywhere in Australia including PO boxes. Your order is delivered in our specialised packaging with a tracking number to your home of office and we guarantee delivery of your order.

Each month you have the option of adding extra bottles of the Malt of the Month (subject to availability) and add Members Small Batch Extras to your order. Members also get discounts at our online shop.
